Have any shinies in your team? Share them at the Forums!
(click rare pokemon)
I have about 3 boxes of shinies in total. Almost all of them were taken from the GTS.
What makes a shiny official?
1. The OT (original trainer) must not be ??????.
2. The pokemon must be found in their area.
For example: Shaymin, Flower Paradise. This shows that the trainer caught it in its normal habitat. But this is fishy... Shaymin, route 218.
3. Caught at the right level. For example: Shaymin caught at level 30. This means that the Shaymin is officially caught without any cheats. This is an example of a Shaymin that might be obtained with Action Replay. Shaymin caught at level 100.
4. Caught with the right moves and PP (power points). The pokemon must have the right moves when caught. If it has a move that it won't learn, its a fake.
We found a Darkrai with the moves Spacial Rend and Roar of Time. You will descide if its real or fake. If you find a Pokemon with Max PP move there might be an Action Replay used in this, but it's 100% harmless.
If there is anymore that we miss please tell a member or a mod. Thank you.
